Here comes the most expensive car in the world, the Ferrari 250 GTO (1963). The car was sold for 70 million US dollars. This fund is equivalent to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Laos.  Is David MacNeil, founder of WeatherTech, a manufacturer of car mats. He bought a Ferrari 250 GT from a German collector. There are only 36 units of this car in the world.  The supercar is even more special because it is the Ferrari that won the Tour de France race in 1964. The Ferrari 250 GTO also brought the Ferrari to its 4th finish in the Le Mans endurance race.

The Bugatti Chiron is like a blank canvas for a grand tourer to be poured into various flamboyant ideas. Until now, the base continues to be developed and spawned extra variants to the limiting model. Call it contestants such as Chiron Sport, Pur Sport, to the ultimate runner Super Sport 300+.

The exotic French manufacturer has just introduced the Chiron Super Sport, which offers the full value of the Bugatti tradition. According to the directive "combination of extreme speed with absolute luxury". When the Super Sport 300+ was created with the ambition of breaking through the wall at 300 miles per hour (482.8 kph) – through a strict diet and minimalist feel – Super Sport actually combines the balance of crazy performance with all the luxury.

The majority of the mechanical side hints at the limiting model of the record breaker. Wearing a 16-cylinder W configuration heart with a capacity of 8,000 cc with a four-turbine compactor. However, the components of the turbocharger, oil pump, and header cylinder have been re-modified. Mixed in such a way to offset the power output of 1,600 hp and 1,600 Nm of torque.

Like consuming ecstasy, the piston dance becomes more wild and full of energy. The engine is capable of roaring 300 rpm higher than the standard so that it can reach 7,100 rpm. Meanwhile, savage torque can go crazy in a longer range from 2,250 to 7,000 rpm. All these changes allow the Chiron Super Sport to accelerate to 200 kph in 5.8 seconds. At that point, the VW Golf GTI has not yet reached 100 kph. When asked to run, the figure of 440 kph immediately became the target.

As for the design, the 300+ model is the reference. Bringing aerodynamic improvements to keep high-speed achievements under control and not be obstructed by air. Significant changes occur at the back, adopting a long-tail design. Plus a large diffuser to provide pressure on the rear axle. Meanwhile, the face is also made different from the standard Chiron model.

Unlike the Super Sport 300+ which looks fun in bare carbon fiber leather, the Super Sport looks more modest. Indeed the number is not limited like 300+, it is aimed at production focus. It offers a variety of color options to a two-tone option, which is said to make the car look longer and lower. The bend is then finished with five-spoke aluminum rims as standard and an extra choice of lightweight magnesium alloy wheels.

Even so, the Super Sport cabin tends to follow Chiron standards. Prioritizing luxury rather than trying to reduce weight as much as possible. The majority of the surface is wrapped in leather and then decorated with aluminum trim. However, carbon fiber elements are also not necessarily abandoned.

This Chiron Super Sport follows in the footsteps of Bugatti's history. In line with the ancestors such as the Type 55 Super Sport from 1931, the EB110 Super Sport from 1993, and finally the Veyron Super Sport in 2010. Not surprisingly, it is priced fantastically, starting from 2.75 million Pound Sterling or around Rp. 55.5 billion with a production plan. implemented in early 2022. (Krm/Raju)
